West Point is only 20 minutes by boat from Portland and less than an hour's drive from the Portland airport.  Bath, Maine and the Maine Maritime Museum, restaurants, shopping and cultural amenities are just a few miles down the road.  Historic Phippsburg and Maine's famous Popham Beach are even closer.
